Contracts

A central part of our practice is advising on Danish standard contracts (AB) and international contract frameworks such as FIDIC. Our contracts team follows established procedures and proven methods to ensure clear contract structures, balanced risk allocation, and effective project governance, helping clients select and structure the contract model best suited to the specific project.

Since 2016, we have worked with collaborative contracts based on structured collaboration models and have been among the first law firms in Denmark to develop and implement these contract structures in construction projects. These contracts are designed to promote transparency, aligned incentives, and early identification and management of risks throughout the project.

For large and technically complex projects – including production facilities and renewable energy projects – we often combine elements from FIDIC and AB to create tailored contractual frameworks. This approach allows us to integrate international best practice with Danish construction standards while supporting effective risk management and collaboration between the parties.
