Qualifications
Heidi specializes in Danish and international construction law and dispute resolution. She holds a Master of Law (LL.M.) from the University of California Davis, where her thesis explored international contract and company law.
Heidi is an experienced lecturer of construction law and teaches a wide range of subjects, including strategic advising on construction projects, FIDIC, risk management and insurance for building and construction, EPCMV Contracts and subcontracting. Heidi highly regards her clients and quickly familiarizes herself with their internal procedures, business models, political challenges, and projects. She can see when the immediate legal solution is not necessarily right and helps her clients consider settlements rather than disputes and arbitration.
Heidi is head of the team Large Projects and International Construction, comprising attorneys and associates specialising in Life Science projects, other large-scale production facilities, and renewables. The projects often include international contractors and suppliers of installations and equipment working on an international basis.
"It is all about the legal strategy and the cooperation between the parties in the construction project. The focus is on how we can prevent and resolve disputes that arise."
