For Joachim, law is about solving problems for others. He works primarily with international contracts from his base in our Aarhus office.

Complex problems give energy

For Joachim, it is the complex problems that are the most fun to work on and that give him the most energy. Like when he finds a little nugget of gold on page 347 in an appendix or in a book that was just what was missing to resolve a case.

It is not crucial whether it is a big or small case, but that he makes a difference for his clients when he helps them close deals, enter into good settlements or have a dispute resolved.

From contract to completed construction

The reason that it is construction law that Joachim enjoys solving challenges within is because it is both tangible and complicated. He likes that it requires insight into more than law to become a good construction lawyer – and he likes that you can go out and look at both errors that need to be inspected and completed construction projects that he has been part of the process behind.

Overall, Joachim feels comfortable when he contributes to good processes and good collaboration. Therefore, he is also well suited to help build a well-functioning team at the Aarhus office.

"Most people can solve a simple problem. It's more fun when it's complicated and the path to a solution isn't straight forward"
